Since graduating from Edinburgh Napier University in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Kenneth has worked as a trainee engineer on large projects along the Scottish East Coast, before returning to Argyll to work on developments for private clients and local housing associations. During this period, he became a member of the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme and has acquired Scottish Vocational Qualifications in construction and equipment operation. This combination of competence and experience allows for a multi-faceted skill base in both managerial and manual works.

Kenneth’s upbringing in Argyll has taught him the importance of community and the importance of supporting local business, therefore Kenneth James Construction is an advocate for using locally sourced tradespersons, labour and materials through a knowledge of Argyll and Highland based services.
